DIY LIGHTING RENTAL
Our Silver Package is a standard rental. You can pick up lighting at our Peabody location or we can deliver them to you (a delivery charge may apply). You then set up and install the lights yourself.
We have a large inventory of lighting but our most popular lights are our AX-3s (often used as uplights) and our Wireless Gobo Projectors. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs or to receive a complete copy of our rental catalog.
Our lights are incredibly easy to rent and easy to set up. Simply unpack and
1. Place the light where you want it
2. Point the included remote at it
3. Select the color or effect you want.
That's it! The remote controls are quite strong and can control many lights at once. If you want to control just one light at a time, simply get closer to it. You can also choose the brightness and the speed at which the colors change. The lights are all video-friendly, so they will not flicker while your event is being filmed.
When you are done, pack the light up in the included box and place the enclosed shipping label on the box.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW MANY LIGHTS DO I NEED?
While this is a matter of personal preference, we think you will agree that the more you have, the better. You can always dim the lights down if they seem too much, but we haven't had someone every say they wish they had less lighting. Generally speaking you want one uplight for every 6-8 feet of wall space.
HOW LONG DO THE BATTERIES LAST?
For our battery powered fixtures, it varies. At full brightness and full white, the lights will last on average 8 hours without needing to be charged. If you choose a color or many colors, you can get up to 20 hours of usage without recharging. We always include a small power adapter which you can plug in and have unlimited usage.
HOW LONG CAN I RENT THE LIGHTS?
Our standard rentals require you to ship the lights back to us two days after your event. If you need a longer term, please contact us. We are happy to work with you to accommodate your needs.
